The editors over at Her Active Life posted a poll last week asking, “Would you wear a running dress?” My first reaction was no way! I admit, I don’t run every day, but when I do, I have no desire to hit the pavement in a dress! Shorts and a t-shirt work just fine for me. The little black dress seems best reserved for Saturday night with a pair of heels and a blow out, not a pair of sneakers and a hat.
But New Balance claims their Seamless Dress can offer “ease of motion and a relaxed fit.” I have a good friend who’s an avid runner. She’s rarely spotted in anything other than a skirt or dress, but even she thinks wearing a dress to sweat it out is a ridiculous idea.
What do you think? Do you want to feel more feminine while you sweat it out? Would you wear it to attract guys on the trail? To run a marathon? On the treadmill at the gym?

A dress to RUN IN??? what?? You can still look cute in a pair of shorts and t-shirt….a dress is taking way to far!
I would never run in a dress or a skirt unless I was playing field hockey.
